All hearing aids have similar sections that help in capturing sound from the surrounding. However, the aids come in different styles which vary in size and design.? There are those which are so small that they can fit inside the canal of the ear, others are big enough to fit partially on the ear canal and then hand on the back part of the ear. One other great feature of this type of hearing aid is that the batteries do not last as long as the larger hearing aids with large batteries.

The second type of ear amplifier hearing aid is in the canal type which is designed to fit half part of the ear canal. It does not fit entirely as that of the completely in the canal type. This aid is also suitable for people who have moderate and mild hearing problems. It has the same characteristics as that of the completely in the canal aid in the sense that you can use it while making a phone call and it is also not visible.

In addition to that, it is designed in such a way that it cannot fit small ears.

The third kind of ear amplifier hearing aid is the half shell which is a smaller type of the in-canal hearing aid, however the difference is that the its half shell and is designed to fit the lower part of outer ear. This kind of hearing is appropriate for those suffering from moderate to severe hearing loss. These are just but a few of the different styles of ear amplifier hearing aid that exist in the market.
