Our client, The Adler and Allan Group provide a range of professional oil industry services and environmental services to a wide range of clients throughout the UK and Ireland. Their services consist of spillage response, disaster relief, fuel and tank installation, fuel distribution, waste management plus a range of complementary services that includes tank cleaning, pollution prevention and emergency fuel deliveries. They have highly trained teams, specialist equipment and vehicles located within their strategically important network of depots and treatment plants and are one of the UK's leading oil and environmental service providers. Due to continuous expansion, they are now looking to a recruit a Business Development Manager, reporting to the Northern Area Manager to develop sales and new business in the Northern region.

The ideal Business Development Manager must come from the industrial services/waste management sector with a proven record of success in the sales environment, but also possess a full understanding of operations in this sector.
The postholder must be able to demonstrate success in contributing towards growing a business in which response times, health and safety standards, transport regulations and the achievement of sales targets are key characteristics.
The postholder will be required to achieve such targets to ensure success in this role. The company has a dynamic can do' culture and the position will appeal to those with an appreciation of operating in a demanding environment.
